APPLICATIONS
Ortho-toluenesulfonamide is used primarily as a basic raw material for the production of saccharin. It can also be used as:
- Plasticizer in melamine coating and laminating resins.
- Plasticizer in thermosetting resins.
- Plasticizer in thermoplastics.
- Brightener in nickel-plating formulations.
- Intermediate in pharmaceutical preparations.
