APPLICATIONS
Ketjenflex® 9S is a mixture of ortho and para toluenesulfonamide. Ketjenflex® 9S is successfully used as a plasticizer for melamine and various other resins. It improves the stability, flexibility and the flow properties of these resins. It is used in various applications such as:
- Component in fluorescent pigments.
- Plasticizer in melamine coating and laminating resins.
- Plasticizer in thermosetting resins.
- Plasticizer in thermoplastics
- Brightener in nickel-plating formulations.
- Raw material in the manufacture of plasticizers and resins.
