APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX® 4 is successfully used as a plasticizer for various types of polymers, but particularly for polyamides. KETJENFLEX^® 4 imparts good efficiency and performance and is highly compatible in nylons. KETJENFLEX^® 4 shows excellent color stability. KETJENFLEX^® 4 is used in various polyamide applications such as:

• Air brake tubing
• Hydraulic tubing
• Vacuum tubing
• Lubrication hoses
• A/C hoses
• Filaments
• Miscellaneous tubing

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® 6 is successfully used as a plasticizer for melamine and various other resins. It improves the stability, flexibility and the flow properties of these resins. It is used in various applications such as:

• Component in fluorescent pigments.
• Plasticizer in melamine coating and laminating resins.
• Plasticizer in thermosetting resins.
• Plasticizer in thermoplastics
• Brightener in nickel-plating formulations.
• Raw material in the manufacture of plasticizers and resins.

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® 8 is a plasticizer and adhesion promoter with high thermal stability. The product is highly polar and it readily plasticizes the more difficult resins, such as nylon and other polyamides,  nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, shellac, zein, and other protein materials. In addition, KETJENFLEX^® 8 is outstanding for improving compounds that are resistant to oils and various solvents.

Compatible systems include:

• Polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesives
• Nitrocellulose lacquers
• Cellulose acetate compositions
• Synthetic polyamides
• Epoxy adhesives
• Nail lacquers
• Printing inks
• Textile adhesive

KETJENFLEX^® 9S is successfully used as a plasticizer for melamine and various other resins. It improves the stability, flexibility and the flow properties of these resins. It is used in various applications such as:

• Component in fluorescent pigments.
• Plasticizer in melamine coating and laminating resins.
• Plasticizer in thermosetting resins.
• Plasticizer in thermoplastics
• Brightener in nickel-plating formulations.

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® 12 is a high performance citric acid ester plasticizer used in combination with PVC, PVDC, nitrocellulose and acrylic resins amongst other. With its favourable toxicological and ecotoxicological profile KETJENFLEX^® 12 is a perfect alternative for phthalate plasticizers in applications where exposure is a concern.

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® CP is para-toluene sulfonic acid monohydrate, a chemical used in various applications like:

• Acid catalyst in resins systems
• Curing agent for melamine resins
• Dehydration catalyst in esterification reactions
• Chemical building block
• Electroplating industry
• Dye and pigment industry

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® MH is sulfonamide based thermoplastic resin. The product improves properties of coatings made of various resins. Exceptionally light color, good light stability and low viscosity in solution are among the interesting properties of this resin.

• Cellulose acetate formulations
• Nail lacquers
• Printing inks

APPLICATIONS
KETJENFLEX^® MS80 is a low viscosity sulfonamide based resin, dissolved in n-butyl acetate. The product improves properties like gloss, flexibility, adhesion, water vapor permeability and solvent resistance of coatings made of various resins. Exceptionally light color, good light stability and low viscosity in solution are among the interesting properties of this resin.
